Our skin sloughs off at a slower rate with age Microdermabrasion is an increasingly popular method for facial rejuvenation. It s a non-invasive mechanical exfoliation treatment that removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells and will leave the skin fresh, clear and radiant.
How Does Microdermabeasion work?
The method uses a mechanical medium for exfoliation (crystals, diamond tips, bristle tips) along with vacuum to sweep away the dead skin and helps with circulation. Mechanical exfoliation with or without particles, along with adjustable vacuum pressure, allows for safe controlled exfoliation of the top layers of the epidermis. Microderm treatments can be used on the face, chest, and neck or anywhere on the body.
How many treatments are needed?
Microdermabrasion treatments are recommended every 2 weeks in a series of 3-5 for correction and every 4-8 weeks for maintenance or prevention.
| Microderm Facial|
We've combined our calming facial with a microdermabrasion treatment to give you a therapeutic and relaxing treatment! Microdermabrasion is a powerful but gentle mechanical exfoliation with a medical grade machine that deep-cleanses pores, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, helps smooth coarsely textured skin, and reduces superficial sun damage. Through the deep exfoliation, clogged pore plugs are lifted from the pore openings and this dull and lusterless material is then vacuumed off of your skin, leaving you with a fresh, clean, bright and new complexion!
The gentle suction of the procedure increases blood flow to the skin and enhances collagen production along with helping to detoxify the skin. This treatment also includes a facial, plus a face and neck and shoulder massage for the ultimate effectiveness and serenity. Extractions if needed.
